There's more than one way to strip a floor....
As we dive in to floor-care season, it's important to keep in mind that different methods work for different floors (and people!). Let's take a look at a couple of key benefits between wet vs. dry stripping your floors:
Wet Stripping A Floor:
‣ This method is a better fit for stripping large areas and floors
‣ A more traditional way to strip - so most cleaning experts are more familiar with this method
‣ More ideal for floors with heavy wax buildup
‣ This method produces no dust during the process
Dry Stripping A Floor:
‣ Less messy - no liquid stripper to clean up during the process
‣ Some people prefer using a machine like a
Tomcat Edge to get in to tight corners and spaces
‣ No risk of the chemical stripper permanently damaging your floor
‣ No strong chemical odor and a reduced risk in slip & fall injuries
